Shanghai, Aug 14: An earthquake of magnitude 5.1 on the Richter scale jolted Japan on Tuesday. The tremors were felt in Chiba Prefecture and nearby areas. There was no report of any injury or casualty. Earlier on Monday, a 5.0 magnitude quake had struck China leaving 18 people injured. More details awaited.
