5.0-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Northern Japan

A 5.0-magnitude earthquake struck northern Japan on Sunday, according to U.S. officials. The U.S. Geological Survey reported that the tremor hit about 30 miles east of Shizunai, located on Japan’s Hokkaido island. The quake hit at a depth of 38 miles. It’s not clear if the quake did any damage.
