Un área de Hawái corre riesgo de quedar aislada por inundación de lava por lo que las autoridades recomendaron su evacuación. "La lava de varias fisuras continúa avanzando hacia el área de Kapoho", un área vacacional que fue destruida por este volcán -el más activo del mundo- en 1960, informó Defensa Civil.

El pasado 30 de mayo, el volcán Kilauea arrojó la lava más caliente y con más movilidad hasta la fecha, cuyos flujos se extendieron por nuevas partes de la isla de Hawái (Estados Unidos) y obligaron a evacuar vecindarios costeros por temor a que se cortaran sus rutas de escape, informa Wendy Stovall, vulcanóloga del Servicio Geológico de EE.
