A GPS image shows Storm Debby in the North Central Atlantic on August 9 Tropical storm Debby 2018. Storm Debby formed in the North Central Atlantic, becoming first a sub tropical storm and by August 9 a full-blown tropical storm. Despite marginal ocean temperatures, Debby continued to strengthen, peaking with maximum sustained winds of 50mph.
